If you are an adult wanting to learn to ride Derbyshire County Council's 'County Rider' scheme will provide up to 8 hours tuition.
Around 2000 'reception' children in the north east of Derbyshire have the opportunity to have a go on balance bikes each year as part of our cycling offer to schools.
It's a great opportunity to get children onto 2 wheels.

Once enrolled you choose your instructor and a time to suit you.

Every school in the 3 SSP areas we work with has the opportunity have Bikeability training.
Level 1 (playground only) can be for Y2 upwards moving through Level 2 (quiet roads) to Level 3 for Y6 & Y7.
We use Level 3 training as an opportunity to look at getting to secondary school by bike.
We love using bikes, trikes & quads!
In our fleet we have folding bikes, classic bikes, trailers, recumbents, penny farthings and cargo bikes as well as mainstream road, hybrid and mountain bikes.
